Crafted for everyday clarity, IKIGAI is our most versatile blend yet. A smooth, consistent matcha designed to meet you where you are – whether it’s a quiet morning or an afternoon reset. Its name, Ikigai (生き甲斐), speaks to purpose, balance, and the small joys that give life meaning.
We’ve blended approximately 7 cultivars from Kyoto, Nara, and Mie – regions known for their deep-rooted tea heritage. Each batch is composed using equivalent-grade materials to ensure a steady profile, season after season. As matcha otherwise can vary a lot depending on batch, region and harvest, we wanted to create an everlasting blend that you can count on every single day. Among the core cultivars are Yabukita, Sayamakaori, Yamakai, Saemidori, Samidori, Gokou, and Sakimidori – each contributing its own quiet character.
The result is a matcha that’s mellow yet complex. A touch of creaminess, balanced by fresh vegetal notes. Subtle umami from Gokou and Samidori lends depth without overpowering. Bitterness stays low, leaving space for clarity. The aroma carries hints of steamed spinach, chestnut, and young almond – fresh and comforting all at once.
